Tempo graphs

This page lists mazurkas which have summary plots of the tempo for each beat. The tempo is determined by the duration between beats in the music, with off-beats being ignored, and beats with no note attacks being estimated.

On the main page for each mazurka listed below, you can drag the plots around on the page to group them as you like. You can also double-click on any of the plots to view a higher resolution of the plot. The high-resolution plots contain different colored points for each beat in the metric cycle: purple for the downbeat, dark blue for the second beat, and light blue for the third beat.

On both the small and large tempo graph plots, a red line is displayed which represents the average tempo which was calculated from all performances represented on the small plot pages.
